Boston Belle Embroidery was founded in 2018 by Lana Tager, a native of Alabama and South Carolina who now calls Boston home (thus, “Boston Belle”) . She’s been doing embroidery work in Boston for over a decade and once owned small gift shop in Charlestown! Lana’s embroidery business started in her home but has really taken off – she now operates out of the Navy Yard with additional staff and large machinery, therefore has a lot more bandwidth. The team embroiders everything from school uniforms, to special event items, corporate bulk orders, and more!
What was once a one-off embroidery shop has blossomed into a business that serves corporate clients looking for hundreds of logos on their gear to brides dreaming up custom napkins for all their guests. But Boston Belle is still happy to embroider one-off items, such as baby gifts or school uniforms, and at an awesome price! She even welcomes customers into her space to bring items and they can dream up designs together. Talk about an amazing, local small business!!!
Lana and her team take pride in their beautiful, custom designs. They love doing embroidery for weddings and seeing the vision come to life. Each wedding project is so unique, which reminds Lana of why she started the business in the first place. Last year they produced custom napkins for nuptials in Italy that was later featured in Vogue UK. How cool!
Some other awesome wedding items they have customized include pocket squares, bowties and belts, bachelor and bachelorette gifts, accessories for family members, getting-ready attire, venue decor such as pillows, and of course, gifts for those getting married. Feel free to book a meeting with Lana so you can chat through your ideas and see how you can make your special day unique, just email [email protected]
Working With Us Is Easy-Peasy. Here’s How It Goes:
First, Request A Quote and tell us:
- What you’re looking to have embroidered (name, initials, number, logo, motif, etc.
- On what are we embroidering it (sweatshirt, hat, pillow case, towel, bag, etc.)
- Where you’re looking to embroider it (front, back, left chest, sleeve, back, leg, arm, etc.)
Second, once you’ve decided to move forward:
- Bring us your items or have them shipped to us directly. Make sure you send us a note and tell us they’re on their way!
- If you’re embroidering names, numbers, initials, or sayings embroidered, pick your font and thread color. FYI, we can exact match your colors if you send us the Pantone numbers.
Additional Details:
- If you’re embroidering a logo or a picture, we’ll need to have it digitized into an embroidery file. This costs $16, possibly a bit more if it is an intricate design. Include your image in your request for a quote.
- We will run 1 sample for you to approve or adjust. After the first sample, each additional sample costs the same as your item.
- Our turn-around time is 5 business days after you drop off your items to us. We will reach out via text to inform you your item is ready for pick up and the total cost of your order.
- We accept cash, check and Venmo (@LanaTager)
