Whether you’ve been traveling non-stop this summer and are finally back into your routine, or you’ve just moved into the neighborhood for the first time, Welcome Home!

Charlestown is one of Boston’s most beloved neighborhood for a reason – You’re close to all the action of the city, the community is vibrant, historic, and ever-evolving, there are folks who have been here for 90 years and babies who were born into the Ctown family two days ago, businesses and community members are cherished, you walk out your door and run into neighbors who love this place just as much as you do… the list goes on.

Homecoming Weekend is a chance for us to celebrate our pride for the neighborhood, being back together, and supporting the businesses who shape our experiences here.

Thursday, September 17th

FREE JPP Stroller Bootcamp – 11 to 11:45am

Join @jppilates1 for a FREE JPP Stroller Bootcamp at the Yard at @hoodparkcharlestown! This class will be a blend of barre, sculpt and pilates! Bring your own mat and stroller and wear sneakers! All participants will also receive a 20% off @henrybearspark coupon for one item at the store! Register now, before spots are filled!

YMCA Charlestown’s 5th Annual Harvest Event – 6pm

Support the Charlestown YMCA by attending their 5th Annual Harvest Event! They are actively working to bring a new Y to Charlestown, and here is your chance to support their mission. Your suuport with also help continue to provide free summer memberships for local youth, water safety programs, food access initiatives and family events are all ways your support keeps our doors open and our mission strong right here in our community. The event is a casual, celebratory end-of-summer evening with neighbors, Y members and the community. Enjoy the impressive raw bar, delicious food stations, passed appetizers, bottomless sangria, exciting raffles, live music and cash bar. Blackmoor’s Patio overlooks the beautiful Charlestown Marina and is set against the city skyline’s sunset.

Parents can enjoy the night worry-free with their always-popular Parents’ Night Out back at the Y. Because of you, Charlestown’s Y continues to be a place where kids learn, families connect, and our community thrives.

Saturday, September 19th

It’s time to shop and celebrate! 

Shops & Pop-Ups – 10am to 2pm

Pop-ups will reside on Main Street outside of Monroe, Junebug, Joy Street, La Saison, and continue down the block. Tony Barrie Band will be performing up and down Main Street from 11am to 1pm!

• Junebug: Pop up with Tiny Ink. Plant special and raffle for new residents!
• Place & Gather: Pop up with Pearls & Gems. New Charlestown product drops… follow on social media for sneak peeks!
• La Saison will be cheffing up Smash Burgers on the street in front of the bakery!
• Ruthie’s Juice will pop-up on Main Street but also have a story time at their cafe at 10am!
• Charlestown Coffee: Bags of whole bean and ground coffee; prepared cold brew
• IONI Olive Oil
• Charlestown Candle Company
• Monument Dental

NEMPAC will also have a Music Petting Zoo at the Charlestown Working Theater, along with information on theater classes as well as private and group music instruction!

Junebug Outdoor Flower Arranging Workshop – 2:30 to 4pm

Join Junebug for an outdoor flower arranging workshop in Charlestown’s Training Field! Class will be held on Saturday, September 19th from 2:30 – 4:00 pm.

With instruction from their talented team of designers, you’ll create a seasonal Classic arrangement in a 5″ glass cylinder vase using gorgeous autumnal blooms. Vase, scissors, floral mechanics, and all flowers and greens will be provided. As a bonus, all guests receive 10% off of Place & Gather merchandise after the workshop! Get your ticket, here!

Sunday, September 20th

JPPilates FREE Best of Boston Celebration Class – 8:30am

Join JPPilates again on Sunday, September 20th at 8:30am at the Bunker Hill Monument for a FREE Pilates Fusion workout led by Jenn, @sweatwithlaurenhefez and @alessandra.iacaboni along with more of your fav JPP teachers! They’ll have live music from @_dj_dukes, photos by @janellecarmelaphotography, swag bags, custom merch and epic giveaways!!!
