Boston’s most magical holiday tradition returns this December as Winter Fest 2025 transforms The Yard at Hood Park in Charlestown into an enchanting winter wonderland. Running on December 6-7, 12-14, and 19-30 (closed December 24 & 25), this year’s event has been completely revamped to deliver a new immersive, family-friendly experience.

Produced by Giancarlo Natale, Founder of the Boston Pizza Festival and one of Boston’s most recognized event producers, Winter Fest 2025 introduces a refreshed layout, new attractions, with a focus on community, comfort, and fun. Guests can enjoy an immersive amusements, classic carousel, and carnival-style arcade games, combining the charm of a traditional fair with the magic of the holidays.

“After years of producing some of Boston’s most beloved large-scale events, it’s been an exciting process to take Winter Fest to the next level,” says Giancarlo Natale, Event Director of Winter Fest. “We’ve reimagined the experience to showcase local food and beverage favorites, interactive family activities, rides, and unique shops all designed to capture the spirit of Boston in a truly festive way.”

The festival grounds are filled with dazzling holiday lights, festive music, and a winter market where multiple local vendors offer artisanal treats, specialty gifts, and interactive experiences such as face painting, perfect for finding holiday treasures for the whole family. Additional highlights include the Après Ski Veuve Clicquot Gondola Lounge, a life-size ice castle and gingerbread house, and weekend visits with Santa, with family experiences available for $35 per group.

Tickets are now on sale for $5 per person, available online! Now in its second year, Winter Fest continues to grow as one of Boston’s most anticipated holiday events, blending festive fun, interactive experiences, and family-friendly entertainment for all to enjoy. Winter Fest 2025 offers three hours of free parking at the Hood Park Garage.
