Boston Police Seek Suspect Following Assault at Charlestown 99 Restaurant

Detectives assigned to District A-1 (Downtown Boston) are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual pictured in connection with an aggravated assault incident that occurred at approximately 7:29 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Ninety-Nine Restaurant located at 31 Austin Street in Charlestown.
Upon arrival, officers observed two patrons at the bar bleeding from their head areas. Both victims sustained lacerations requiring medical attention and were transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. Multiple witnesses on scene confirmed that the suspect struck both victims with what appeared to be a padlock at the end of a lanyard.
The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a black tank top, black shorts, a knee brace on his right knee, and black sneakers. The suspect was also observed wearing sunglasses clipped to the front of his tank top and a watch on his right wrist.
